Town of Palm Beach Shores

Message from the PBS Police Dept. - Update to the Burglaries & 5K

March 30, 2017

For those of you who have NOT heard, the department has received information through our law enforcement partnerships that has led to identification of the suspects in the burglary to a home that recently occurred.  Officer Russian is diligently working with these agencies so that we may pursue a successful prosecution of these crimes.  A small amount of property was identified and recovered and we are attempting to locate the rest of the stolen items.  As we are able, we will keep you updated on the status of the case.

We appreciate the calls into the police department for those of you who have seen something suspicious and notified us right away.  It lets us know you’re being vigilant!    To that end, the Town is working on an ordinance that will require lawn services to register the trucks of companies working in town and some type of identification for the workers such as ID cards or uniform t-shirts.

Finally here is a reminder for those of you venturing out early Saturday morning, April 1st.  No, this is not an April Fool’s joke!  Riviera Beach is hosting a 5K run that will begin at 7:30AM and may take a couple of hours to complete.  Participants will not enter the town but you may have a slight delay on entering or leaving town.  It will start and finish at the Ocean Mall and will primarily be on Blue Heron Blvd and Ocean Drive.
