Hi! Why doesn't the Town invest in a Wi-Fi like Juno Beach. It would be easy to do, just put the 'node' on the fire siren.

My husband and I found a jewel many years ago and that is Palm Beach Shores. We have been proud owners for the past 3 years and look forward to our restfull days on the most well kept secret beach. See you next week neighbors! :)

My wife and i have been in Fla, for about 7yrs now, and all of them here. We really like it here, the people are nice and always take the time to say hello. The town takes alot of time and care in making PBS, look great. The new inlet walkway is great and shows a lot of planning went into it. The local police are friendly and put our welfare first. Well thats all, just one more thing. Am i the only one who thinks we need a Tsunami warning bell or something, just asking. Be well.

My brother & I own a condo at 100 Bravado Ln. My grandparents, Agnes & Oscar Sundvall, bought a condo at 108 Bravado in the early 1970s and lived there for many years. So I've enjoyed the great beach, island hospitality, and the pool & outside bar at the Sea Spray for many years! Eventually my wife & I hope to retire in the area. Please keep PBS in as good a shape as it is, recognizing that many positive(?) changes are currently taking place. I'd like to hear from anyone who knew my grandparents. I think Agnes used to play piano at the Colonades Hotelin the 70/80s? I do enjoy the web site. Thank you.

My mom had our house built at 118 Cascade Lane in 1952; before that we lived in Edna Scollins' (I think that was her last name)apartments on Blue Heron. Mom said our house was the 17th built on the island, not sure if that is true. I know our lot cost about $1500, and the house total cost was about $12,000. I think she sold it two years later for $14,000, when we moved way up on the north end at what is now the north border of John D. McArthur Park, where she lived until 1982.

I'm sure old timers remember my mother, Alma Beck. She managed the pool at the Colonnades for four years, then ran a kindergarten/day camp, Singer Shores.

I read the .pdf history and enjoyed it very much. What it is too polite to say is that Palm Beach Shores was originally "restricted", which meant no Jewish families could settle. I remember sort of a ruckus when a Jewish family moved to the lake block of Cascade Lane in about 1953. I can't remember their name, but my mother defied several friends and took their part.

I vaguely remember the street race around Palm Beach Shores; Karl Brocken drove in it I believe. I certainly remember when Bill Bachstet bought Roy's Livery and turned it into Bill's Marina. Before that, Roy's Livery rented distinctive orange plywood fishing boats to transient fishermen. Mr. Bachstet was previously a contractor, he built our house. I went to school with his son.

the towns website is really great. this summer, the town has been a great place for the neighborhood kids and i to hang out. My friends and are are part of the youth concil and we help out with the parties, but now we would like to start a teenager addition to the council. the parties are usually aimed for younger kids and yeah, theyre great, but we do need something for us too. my friends and i have grown up here and just love it so much. if you know anyone that would like to join the teen group, please let someone know. Officer Steve Langevin knows about it and if we get enough people, hopefully it will happen!!! thanks!!

I really like the website. It has lots of information. However I am coming there for my honeymoon in August and I am trying to find out more about the things to do where to get maps. We would love to know about Palm Beach Shores so we can enjoy the area.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
