Building Permit Fees

If you'd like to calculate your permit fee, click above for the Fee Schedule. IMPORTANT: As of October 1st, 2010, Florida Statutes 468.631 and 553.721 require us to collect a surcharge on all permit fees. This means that once you've calculated our fee, multipy it by 3% (minimum $4.00) and add this number to the permit fee.

Building Permit Application

Date: October 22, 2010

The Building Permit application must be accompanied by a check or cash for the permit fee, and two copies of any back-up materials (e.g. plans, product approvals, wind-load engineering, etc.)

Contractors Registration Application

Date: August 1, 2010

When applying for a building permit, please be prepared to update your Contractor Registration. We'll need the application form along with current copies of your licenses, liability insurance, and Workers Comp.

Change of Contractor Request

Demolition Sign Off Form

In order to have a demolition performed, please complete this form.

Notice of Commencement

Date: August 1, 2010

If the job valuation is $2500.00 or more ($5000.00 for A/C), we will require a Notice of Commencement, preferably upon pickup of the permit. This form must be printed on legal-sized paper, filled out and taken to the Courthouse to be recorded.
